As a company within the ABEO Group, we stand for measurable progress in climate protection, the circular economy, and responsible sourcing.
For us, sustainability is not just a buzzword but an integral part of our corporate strategy. Our parent company, the ABEO Group - a global leader in sports and leisure equipment with over 1,700 employees and revenue of €280 million in the 2025/26 fiscal year - has now published a summary of its latest sustainability report. The results demonstrate that the path we have chosen is bearing fruit.
Clearly defined climate targets
The ABEO Group is pursuing a decarbonization pathway aligned with the Paris Agreement (the “well below 2°C” scenario). The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2.5% annually across all emission scopes (Scopes 1-3) by 2032, using the 2023/24 financial year as the baseline. Since 2025, this commitment has also been financially anchored through a sustainability-linked loan.
Results for the 2025/26 financial year compared to the previous year:
- 11% energy consumption (19,007 MWh)
- 6% greenhouse gas emissions (67,404 t CO₂e)
- 17% CO₂ intensity (241 g CO₂e per euro of revenue)
Directly relevant to cubicles and changing room systems
The "Changing Room and Cubicle Systems" business unit makes a significant contribution to these results: the use of innovative, lower-emission panels has enabled a reduction of up to 72% in the CO₂ footprint associated with the production of changing room facilities. For architects, planners, and public-sector clients, this means that quality and functionality can be combined with a demonstrably superior environmental profile.
Circular economy and responsible sourcing
The Group also relies on verifiable standards regarding materials and the supply chain:
- 100% of the wood used is FSC® or PEFC™ certified.
- 11% of the materials are recycled or reused.
- 81% of the Group companies' waste was recovered in 2025/26 (1,872 out of 2,320 tonnes).
- 61% of strategic suppliers have signed the ABEO Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Seven companies are certified to ISO 14001 (environmental management).
Responsibility for employees
In 2025/26, the Group introduced its first group-wide occupational health and safety policy, thereby establishing a common framework for all subsidiaries. Two sites are already certified to ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). Women account for 37% of senior and middle management, and the Group employed 44 apprentices and interns at the end of the fiscal year.
Outlook 2026/27
For the coming fiscal year, the Group has set itself the goal of rolling out eco-design across the entire Group and further improving its social performance in the areas of diversity and occupational health and safety.
